Success stories. We’ve probably heard a lot of them. In
fact, almost every day we hear some story, from some corner of the world, about
some person, who gained some success. We hear these stories and sooner or later
forget about them. But there are some that remain with us. Because there was
something special about that story. Like the unforgettable story of Nitesh
Agarwal.
Nitesh Agarwal wanted to make his own success story. He
wanted to put DARCL Logistics Ltd. on the map. But here’s the catch. Nitesh was
just a young man in his 20’s. Would people take the vision of a young, under
experienced man seriously? Would traditional thinking and experience, overcome
age? Had the answer been no, Nitesh wouldn’t have been the winner of the Youth
Transport Personality of the Year at the Mahindra Navistar Transport Excellence
Awards 2011.
Today, at only 28 years of age, Nitesh Agarwal is the
vice-president of DARCL. His foresight and leadership made him in charge of the
east zone operations. A zone that was facing a lot of challenges, but Nitesh
was determined to turn things around. His insistence on investing in
specialized systems to procure business, made the east zone the most profitable
zone for the company.
His contribution not only brought a paradigm shift in
DARCL but also the Indian transport industry.
This is why he was a winner at the first edition of the Mahindra
Navistar Transport Excellence Awards; awards that recognise excellence in the
Indian transport industry.
Now the second edition of the Mahindra Navistar Transport
Excellence Awards is here. This year the awards would be bigger and the
recognition greater. It would be a night celebrating excellence at its best.
This would also include a new Youth Transport Personality of the Year.
The entries for the awards open this 25th of July and
close by the 5th of September. There is no criteria for registering, only
excellence in the transport industry. Register now. It could change your life
forever.
